WP6 Overall goals • To develop a framework for compilation and analysis of data for the understanding of interactions and flows in the coastal zone; • To provide coastal managers with a decision-making framework and communication tool for integrated management plan for coastal areas.
Key activities and achievements since the last meeting • Development of CTAM (Coastal Transects Analysis Model) • Visualization (2D-complete, 2.5D in progress) • Classification (done) (D6.2) • Interactions and flow (first draft done) (D6.3) • Manuscripts (drafted and revised) • Paper # 1, based on D6.1 (stakeholder engagement tools) • Papers # 2 & 3, based on D6.2
Dissemination • Launching of CTAM Phase I at the 3rd Coastal Zone Asia-Pacific (CZAP), Batam, Indonesia, August 2006; • Panel presentation at Coastal Zone’07 Conference, Portland, July 2007 (together with WP8); • Keynote presentation at CHARM Project Conference, Krabi, Thailand, August 2007.
