Agenda • Participants will identify the 4 iClickers • components • Participants will identify the 3 steps • used to set up the iClickers response • system. • Participants will download the iClicker • software to their computer. • Participants will select and/or construct • 5 questions to use with the iClicker • response system.

  3. Components of the iClicker Response system • Base • 2 blue instructor clickers • 1 USB cord • 1 software jump drive • Student iClickers

  7. Creating questions • Open the settings tools • Register your Instructor iClicker (blue) • Use the number on the found on the back • of the iClicker at the bottom • Select the demographics tab • Select questions from the bank of • questions shown OR • Create your own

  8. You can place a question in an “active” Power Point slide. The iClicker tool bar will appear above the slide. If the tool bar does not appear, the iClicker response system will not work. The iClicker system will work with a Prezi presentation but occasionally will cause the presentation to change from full screen to the Prezi window.

  9. iClickers for check out • You are responsible for all the equipment • You are responsible for bringing it to the • Office of Teacher Education Services. • You must return the iClicker set by 4:30. • Remember someone else is waiting to • check out the iClicker set

Open the UTSA main webpage • Search for Student Teaching • Locate the Wiki link at the bottom of the page • Locate the Binary Bistro web link in the middle of • the Wiki Frontpage and click on it • Locate the folders on the right of the page • Open the folder labeled iClickers • Locate the iClickers presentation • Open the presentation to this slide
