New Discipline Procedures • Parent contact for discipline issues: • First contact is through a detention slip sent home with the child • Lunch detentions, afterschool detentions, short term ISS may not result in a call home • All day ISS and all OSS will result in a call home and possible parent meeting

More Transportation, Attendance • Transportation • Bus stops are reviewed annually and drivers are not permitted to make changes. Please do not ask this of them • A bus pass is required for a student to ride another bus or to get off at another stop- they are available by calling the office or sending a note before noon • It is very busy here in the morning and the high school has changed their start time to align with ours. Allow extra time!
More Transportation, Attendance • When your student is going to be absent please call the Main Office at: (269) 926-3400 • Contacting your student’s teachers will not excuse them • Parents must telephone the office before 9:00 am on the morning of the day the student is absent • If a phone call is not received within 24hrs , the absence becomes (and will remain) unexcused • Extended absences will require a doctor’s note (they are happy to do this for you) • Parents will be notified by note of any unexcused absences. Please call Mr. Jeffers to verify your student’s absence
