Case study Eutrophication assessment • OSPAR Comprehensive Procedure for the Identification of the eutrophication status of the OSPAR maritime area • Objective : to get and to report to policy makers a comparable vision of the eutrophication status of the North Atlantic marine waters Application to international assessments/policy making

  11. OSPAR Eutrophication assessment criteria • Adopted by OSPAR in 2002 • Applied by Contracting Parties in summer 2002 • For Belgium, report made by MUMM with assistance from ULB - ESA (OSTC contract) and and/or Application to international assessments/policy making
