Looking Ahead: • Tomorrow, Sept 28: last day to turn in Summer Reading and extra credit assignments (don’t forget to submit to Turnitin.com and to give me a paper copy for Summer Reading and extra credit) Also, turn in level questions and work from 9-20) • Begin Oedipus on Mon, Oct 1 and test on pp. 1420-1426. • Wed, Oct 3: Picture Day!!

  2. 9-27-12 Objectives: • To know how to answer multiple-choice questions on an AP Exam. • To apply essay-writing skills in an AP Essay question.

  3. Today’s Agenda: • Lord of the Flies exam (you know who you are if you are taking it today) • Go over answers for multiple-choice questions on practice AP Exam. • Discuss correct essay format • Beowulf exam

  4. 9-27-12 Journal: • Would you ever want a life and/or career in the public eye? Explain why or why not.

  5. The AP Essay: Prose or Poetry • Intro • Two body paragraphs • Conclusion *****Read the prompt first, then read the selection. Make sure that you are addressing the prompt!!!
