  3. I. Local developments: • Installing of COSMO-RO model on the new HPC machine • The new domain will have 301x301 grid points and 40 vertical levels (7 km resolution) • Design of an new operational suite for 4 runs/day (00, 06,12 and 18 UTC) • Preoperational tests with the COSMO-RO model at 2.8km resolution, for a domain covering Romanian territory • Nudging Data Assimilation for Synop and Radar data • Improvement of the operational verification versus observational data

  4. II. Development in the frame of COSMO Consortium • Further participations on Data Assimilation- priority project 0,7 FTE • Further participations on UTCS - priority project 0.7 FTE • Further participations on CV “Conditional Verification, Extended Common Verification Suite” - priority project 0.7 FTE • Further participationson SPRT “Support Activities” - priority project 0.4 FTE (contains manager) • Further participations on WG4 - priority project 0.5 FTE • Participations to other priority projects, if it is required • Romania may organize a training course, using the infrastructure of his National Meteorological School, in Bucharest or Constanta (at Black Sea)
