PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY Football is a unique opportunity to influence the hearts and minds of the next generation Of men. Ultimately, we are here to build young men into CHAMPIONS on and off the playing field. We are committed to conduct our business with integrity, service, quality, and trust. VISION • ACADEMIC: A champion gives great effort in the classroom and cares about their educational future. Every player will be in study hall from 2:25 – 2:50 daily. • ATHLETIC: Our standard of excellence is compete at the highest level on the playing field. A champion competes with an unbelievable desire to win and be the best. • CHARACTER: We place a high level of importance on building and developing men of character. Character lessons will be given each week on Thursdays during the season.
PROGRAM PHILOSOPHY We want to create an atmosphere of Excellence in our program. We have high standards and we expect our players to rise to the level of expectations in the program. Here are a few truths about our program. • All players will be treated with fairness. • Players will be held accountable for their actions. Players will be required to be on time, be respectful of coaches, work hard, and be good team-mates. • There are no “special privileges” given to anyone. • Players will be re-enforced in a POSITIVE manner. • Every player will be valued and cared for in our program. • We will strive to be “THE BEST” in every area of our program on and off the field.

FUNDRASING EFFORTS KING SOOPERS CARDS • HOW IT WORKS: • Purchase a card from Coach Klatt - $ 5 • Use that card to purchase food or gas. • Reload the card at your convenience. • Your card works just like cash! • 5% of all money reloaded onto cards goes to Mead Football. • BENEFITS OF CARD: • Participants are using there OWN money for everyday purchases. • No door to door selling. • No hassle fundraising. • Money is kicked back to fundraising • budget for better equipping players. TO DATE WE HAVE MADE 1,500 FROM THE CARDS. OUR GOAL IS 5,000 A YEAR. ALL IT TAKES IS A LITTLE COMMITMENT ON YOUR PART. GET YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY INVOLVED TODAY!!
FUNDRASING EVENTS COMMUNITY SERIVCE – LETTER WRITTING • BENEFITS OF LETTER WRITTING: • We are providing a service to our community! • No door to door selling. • Players begin to understand one of the basic principles of this program, TO HELP OTHERS IN NEED. • HOW IT WORKS: • Players write 10 short letters to relatives / friends asking for sponsor money. • The sponsorship is for the player providing a service to the community of MEAD! THIS YEAR WE WILL BE PROVIDING A SERVICE IN THE TOWN OF MEAD ON SEPT. 7THFOR MEAD COMMUNITY DAYS. PLAYERS WILL BE SETTING UP TABLES, SERVING FOOD, CLEANING UP, AND INTERACTING IN A POSITIVE WAY WITH THE COMMUNITY.

ALL AUCTION INFORMATION WILL BE ON meadfootball.org starting in Aug 2013. WE WILL OPEN THE BIDDING AT THE FALL PARENT NIGHT! ALL BIDDING WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE AUCTION PAGE ON OUR WEB SITE.

BELIEVE TOGETHER We have a unique opportunity at Mead High School because of the great community that we live in. Our program wants too create a group that we can all be proud of. It will take effort on all of our parts to create a role model program. We want to build relationships throughout our family - after all that is what it is all about – RELATIONSHIPS! So let’s roll up our sleeves, lock arms, and get busy. Together, we can make difference in molding our future fathers, husbands, and leaders!
