1939-1945 1939- august fifteenth- German invades Poland taking innocent civilians 1941- The Auschwitz concentration camp is built and prisons are emptied. Most Prisoners sent to Auschwitz to relieve over population of prisons. 1942- First shipment of prisoners from the Grodno Ghetto sent to Auschwitz. 1945- Auschwitz is closed down and Prisoners are released.
soldiers were effected by the war for the worse. They suffered through bad conditions and were also forced into the army. They didn’t have a choice like all of us in here. I realize that we cant be mad at the soldiers because there suffering just as much as we are.. • Auschwitz Journal 43: • -Life in Auschwitz is terrible, I wish I were dead.
