  3. :: Today’s Agenda • Today is a Full Working Day • Notice: • There are two new video tutorials posted on the class web site • How to load external JPG files and external SWF files into a flash movie. • Hoe to create a flash MP3 player that loads external MP3 files. • I will not be demonstrating these tutorials in class today. Instead, I want you to do them over the weekend, and come to our next class with any questions/problems. I will then assess how much time I need to dedicate to them in class. • My goal is to optimize the amount of 1-1 meeting time during our class periods. • I will always be available during office hours for extra questions/concerns.

  5. :: Final Assignment 1st draft due : 11.14.06 • Art 257+258 Flash Web Site • Begin Building your Flash Site • Get all of your design elements into Flash • Remember, to preserve color from Illustrator, you should export a .swf file from Illustrator, then import the swf into Flash. • Start simple by creating a working site (with no pre-loader or transitions) on one timeline. • Get your nav buttons set up and working. • As your site grows and becomes more and more complex, then consider nesting sections into nested movie clips in order to use more advanced features such as scene transitions.
