Church Drive Recruitment Church Drive is an all-out effort to maximize your membership teams' efforts by canvassing an entire parish on one weekend. 2014 -2015 Dates • August 29 & 30, 2015 • October 10 & 11, 2015 • January 23 & 24, 2016 • March 12 & 13, 2016
Phase 1 - Preparation • Obtaining the pastor’s permission. • Order recruitment materials. • Advertise the ‘Church Drive” in the parish bulletin.
Get the priest onboard. • Line up council members to work the doors. • Inform the insurance representatives. Phase 1 - Preparation
Members Assisting On the day of the Church Drive each member should have the following: • A sound knowledge of the product. (use “Ask Yourself First) • A Council history • Prospect cards: 921A and 921 • “Did You Know” flyer: #1267 • Pencils for Prospect cards
Phase 2 - Execution • With the pastor’s permission, arrange for a Pulpit announcement. • After Mass, have 2-3 Brother Knights on hand at each door. • Ask for name and phone number only.
Phase 3 – Follow-Up • Contact prospects and form 100 s as soon as possible. • Inform these prospects that you will be happy to answer any questions.
Phase 4 - Orientation • This phase begins with organization! • Give prospects or candidates answers to any questions they may have. • Request that your council’s Chaplain is happy to talk about the Order and its mission.
Phase 4 - Orientation Inform the candidates of the date of the next First Degree.

Church Drive Checklist Prior to Drive • Obtaining the pastor’s permission • Order recruitment materials (Church Drive Kit from Supreme) • Advertise the “Church Drive” in the parish bulletin • Line up council members to work the doors • With the pastor’s permission, arrange for a Pulpit announcement • Plan for prospect card follow up (who is responsible?) • Schedule and plan informational meeting • Schedule first degree • Inform your insurance representatives
