  3. Status: General • Draft 3.0 will be released week of February 8 • Annex A is complete • Annex B still in question

Status: Draft 3.0 Annex A Security • Completed Annex A security content • Authored by William Whyte • Security primitives have been added or enhanced • Security requirements are in place (subclause A.6) • Encryption and decryption shall be performed using the AES algorithm in CBC mode • Authentication algorithm shall be AES-CMAC • Key derivation algorithm shall be AES-256 single-block encryption • Requirements are defined for the payer and payee Payment Service to maintain keying and keying-related material

  5. Status: Draft 3.0 Annex A PSID Allocation • Annex A WAVE services will use PSIDs between TBD1 and TBD2 inclusive: Request 5 PSIDs (4 will be reserved in first publication)

  6. Status: Draft 3.0 Annex B • Annex B: Maintain or remove? • Some changes were made per comment resolutions • Next steps for Annex B – we may leave it as is and address the data formats, security, and data flows as there becomes more of a market need (follow up standard), or remove it and explore a follow on PAR to develop Annex B in explicit detail. • Recommendation: remove it for this publication version
