  2. Learning Activities • Learning Activities will be off of Emilie Jaques-Dalcroze method of music education. • Eurhythmics, Solfege, and Improvisation are the main points of Dalcrozemethod. • Students will learn to improv and move in beat.

  3. Improv time • Listen to a Improv drum circle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gj0JLBelKoM • Lets get our percussion instruments! [Bring out all the percussion instruments. More non-pitched then pitched. Use Ipad for the beat in the background.  Then let one of the Bass instruments start off. Then let another student go to the next and next] • Try to get an interesting Jungle theme

  4. MOVEMENT • What animals are in the zoo? • [While the groove of the Ipador either the percussion instruments are going on. The students will improve in beat of the movement of the animals from the zoo] • Lets dance like the animals in the ZOO!
