Barbara Kruger • Born 1945 • American artist • Conceptual artist. • She uses black and white photographs overlaid with often red text to confront issues of power, money, consumerism and sexism.
Joseph Cornell • 1903 – 1972 • American Assemblage Artist • Used found object; collage & montage to create art works (2D & 3D) that relate to collecting things and memory and nostalgia
