  9. IntraMail on Aspire M • Supported on 64CPU (0891002) or 64CPU with PALA UGD (0891039). Not supported on the 512CPU (0891038) • Counts towards station port usage for CPU type. • Uses same IntraMail as Aspire S (0892180-4P8H, 0892182-8P16H) Can be carried over from an Aspire S system. • External VM or FMS/VMS/DMS can not work when IntraMail is installed. • DTMF/tone detectors on DSPDB do not work • Softkeys operate like Aspire S. This is different from the FMS/VMS/DMS.

  10. Aspire Wireless Enhancements • MW Indication by Envelope Icon • Abbreviated Dial Search by Name • Common, Group, Extension • Name/Number displayed in idle mode • Station forwarding status not shown • CID for transferred calls • Incoming call priority in case of collision • Requires change to Aspire software, DSIU firmware and handset firmware.

  11. Video IP Soft Phone • Second Aspire IP Soft Phone (0892015) • Similar to current Aspire IP Soft Phone • Supports a webcam appliance. We do not provide this . • Supports the new USB phone with 4 function keys and new USB cordless headset (CS50-USB, 730092)

  12. Video IP Soft Phone (continued) • Can send/receive video only from another Aspire Video IP Soft Phone connected to the system. Inter-system (either networked or not) video is not supported. • The new version of the Aspire IP Soft Phone also supports the new USB Phone with 4 function keys and the new USB Cordless Headset (CS50-USB, p/n 730092)

  13. Tandem Connection of > 2 CO Lines • A user can set up an unsupervised conference with more than 2 CO lines • The user that set up the conference can rejoin the conference at any time • Trunk keys are required to rejoin a conference • Trunks must support disconnect supervision

  14. SIP Trunk Support • Connects Directly to Network For Trunks • No IP to TDM Equipment Required • Update to RFC3261 base • Commonly used by SIP Providers • Epilog Communications – Michigan has been tested

  15. SIP Trunk Support (continued) • Testing in progress with CBeyond currently service 5 major metropolitan areas • Atlanta • Chicago • Dallas • Denver • Houston • Los Angeles next • New system software required (5.1)

  16. Flexible Ringing by Caller ID • Aspire can either reject incoming calls marked “Private” for CID and play a VRS message to the caller or route to a ring group or alternate extension. • When CID is received, Aspire can check it against an entry in the ABB table and reject or route the call to an alternate extension or ring group. • With a VRS, the customer can record the rejection message. With no VRS, ISDN will reject the call; analog lines will go to ring-no-answer if not programmed to go to a ring group. • Extension ability to set/cancel call rejection by COS.

  17. Fax Over Aspire Network • Currently, sending a fax over an Aspire network is not reliable. • No resource available/busy doesn’t send busy to fax machine • Error in IP transmission doesn’t perform a resend operation • Change to sending by H.245 Protocol instead of H.323
