AWIPS Software Source Code Transfer • Raytheon took over AWIPS baseline hydro software source code “ownership” on 2 October 2006 • HSEB still working with Raytheon CM on code transfer and make-build details • not smooth, ability to make-build a release just recently achieved (for OB8.1), …sort of • Raytheon now holds source code baseline in Serena ChangeMan Dimensions 9 CM tool • HSEB no longer does make-build for releases • complex new procedures being developed to work with Raytheon for source code check-out & check-in • HSEB & ASM developers work together using CM client • possibilities for field offices to work with CM tool??? HSEB Activities Update
NEXRAD Software Development Activities • RPG Build 9 start fielding June 2007 • re-host of PPS on Linux plus minor bugs • RPG Build 10 start fielding April 2008 • little HSEB involvement; mean field bias source ID added • SPG Build 3 start fielding September 2007 • adapt RPG PPS to TDWR input data • products viewable on AWIPS OB8.2 • RPG Build 11 start fielding summer 2009 • implement dual polarization QPE algorithm HSEB Activities Update
