Coat storage Student book bag storage Note: This arrangement accommodates 12 to 15 students, with at least 4 students per tables. Students have individual workspace and collaborative space to accommodates corporative grouping or teamwork and collaborative practices. Teacher has awareness of all students, or “wit-it-ness” to monitor student’s behaviors at all times. This arrangement promotes learning and class participation, shared ideas and creativity. It is especially useful for non-English speaking students to have an opportunity to know their fellow classmates. Finally, the teacher has full view of the entrance and existing of the classroom to prevent interruptions.
