  2. Man's Way • Marriage is a burden • Don't need love • Divorce for any reason • All are allowed to remarry • Homosexuality

Does Marriage Have to DO with God & Religion? • Matt. 19:6 what God hath joined • Gen. 2:18 I will make a help mate comparable to him • Gen. 2:24-25 man and his wife • Mal. 2:14 the Lord has been witness • 1 Cor. 7:1-5 so that Satan does not tempt you • Heb. 13:4 God will judge • Prov. 18:22 obtains favor of the Lord

  4. Marriage: 1 man with 1 women • Gen. 1:27-28 male and female he created them • Gen. 7:2-3 male and female to keep the species alive • Rom. 1:27-28 committing what is shameful • Lev. 18:22-23, 20:13-16 an abomination • 1 Cor. 6:9 will not inherit the kingdom of God

WOMEN • Eph. 5:33 respect your husbands • Eph. 5:22-24 submit just as the church is to Christ • 1 Pet. 3:1-6 keep themselves for their husband • Pro. 31:10-31 virtuous woman Men • Eph. 5:23 take leadership • 1 Tim. 5:8 provide for her • 1 Pet. 3:7 honor and dwell with her • Eph. 5:27 present ourselves a glorious bride • Eph. 5:28-30 love her as your own body • Eph. 5:25 love her as Christ loved the church

  6. Divorce • Mark 10:4-12 let no man separate • Mal. 2:16 God HATES divorce • 1 Cor. 7:10-16 is not to divorce • Matt. 5:32 sexual immorality • Matt. 19:8-9 commits adultery

  7. Remarriage • Matt. 19:7-9 one has put away their spouse for adultery • Rom. 7:2-3 if her husband dies • 1 Cor. 7:39 at liberty to be married to whom she wants
