Subcommittee Updates • Operating Reliability Subcommittee (ORS) • Working on an RC coordination document (could be of interest in WECC) • Resources Subcommittee (RS) • FERC issued its final rule on primary frequency response • Final rule referenced Primary Frequency Control Guideline • Event Analysis Subcommittee (EAS) • Asked for two compliance guidance task forces • TOP-001-4 R10.3 and R10.6 – Assigned to ORS – Non-BES data collection • TOP-001-4 R20 and R23 – Data redundancy in control center and testing • TOP-010 R3 – Data Quality task force will succeed the RTATF TOP-010 R13 task force • Personnel Subcommittee (PS) • Concern over ILA’s and keeping them current

Subcommittee Updates • Essential Reliability Services Group • Technical and Policy Briefs were approved and posted to ERSWG site • Measure 1, 2, and 4 Forward Looking Technical Briefs • Measure 1, 2, and 4 Forward Looking Policy Briefs • Measure 6 Forward Looking Technical Brief • Measure 6 Historical Analysis • Measure 3 Summary and Recommendation Brief • DER Data Collection Technical Brief • ERSWG has completed its assignments – no new assignments (yet) • Measure 1 – Synchronous Inertia Response at Interconnection Level • Measure 2 – Initial Frequency Deviation Following Largest Contingency • Measure 3 – Synchronous Inertia at BA Level • Measure 6 – Net Demand Ramping Variability

Task Force Updates • Real Time Assessment Task Force (RTATF) • OC approved Compliance Guidance in December 2017 • Document is at NERC awaiting RE/ERO approval • Methods for Establishing IROL Task Force (MEITF) • General progress is on Standards Development page • Inverted-based Resources Performance Task Force (IRPTF) • Ryan Quint to Call in today

Lessons Learned Since 2/7/2018 OC Meeting • LL20180302 Breaker Failure Due to Trip Coil Polarity • LL20180301 State Estimator Outages Requiring Tuning/Calibrating EMS Settings • LL20180101 Inadequate Battery Configuration Management Damaged a Generating Station and Tripped an HVDC Conversion Station
