Summary of proton radiotherapy • Eye melanoma proton radiotherapy starts at IFJ Krakow inMay 2009. 60 MeV proton beam will be delivered by AIC-144 cyclotron. Cooperation with Clinic of Ophthalmology and Centre of Oncology • The project National Centre for Hadron Radiotherapy Phase 1 has been approved. 230-250 MeV cyclotron will be purchased, new cyclotron bunker and experimental hall will be constructed, eye treatment moved • The funds for the gantry have to be generated Pawel Olko, IEEE meeting, 30.06.2008
