Earth Station Coordination • Calculates the coordination contour around satellite earth stations • Selectable methods • Current ITU Radio Regulations Appendix 7(ITU-R Recommendation SM.1448) • Old method “Appendix 28” • Gives the coordination areas for TX and RX. Further interference analysis or coordination with neighbouring countries should be performed. • Coordination areas can be used for database searches for potential interferers/receivers to interfere. • Detailed interference calculations are performed in the WRAP Interference tool WRAP 0862D

  3. Procedure • Enter earth station data • Perform calculation of coordination contour • Present in Map Viewer • Search for stations within coordination contour • Add stations to the project • Perform interference calculation. WRAP 0862D
