Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG) • 2010-2011 • FAFSA filing deadline • April 1, 2010 • Maximum EFC • 1700
Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG) • Required Notification: • OTAG funds are a part of LEAP and are funded by the federal government and the states, and where applicable, other contributing partners.
Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG) • Undocumented Students first enrolled 2007-08 and after must: • Have graduated from a public or private high school in Oklahoma. • Have resided in Oklahoma with a parent or guardian while attending a public or private high school in Oklahoma for at least two years prior to graduation.
Undocumented Students (con’t) • Satisfy admission standards, as determined by OSRHE, and be admitted and enrolled in an institution within the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education • AND • Either hold a temporary visa or have provided to the institution a copy of a true and correct application or petition filed with the US Citizenship and immigration Services (USCIS) to legalize the student’s immigration status

Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG) • Military Students and Dependents (Oklahoma full-time active duty) • For schools implementing the new residency policy provisions in 2010-2011, these students are eligible for state scholarship and grant programs including OTAG without reference to “state of legal residency” listed on the FAFSA. • This residency policy provision becomes effective • for all state institutions in 2011-2012.
Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG) • Cash Transfers for Payment • Beginning fall 2010, for public colleges and universities we will use cash transfer into designated accounts to pay OTAG claims.
