  2. “RISE WITH US” • October 29, 2007 the Portland Trail Blazers released its 2007-2008 season theme • “Rise With Us” marketing campaign • - speaks to a young team with a bright future • - invitation to the city of Portland to be a part of an “unfolding story” • Creating a new image of the team and the organization … no longer the “Jail Blazers”

AN INSIDE LOOK • Their new approach to advertising places the cameras in the hands of the players, staff members, and fans • This documentary style, behind-the-scenes view will give fans an inside look at the team on and off the court “We want to pull back the curtain even farther and engage the entire community in this very real journey of how our young and exciting team will grow and how the team and the city will unite.” – Larry Miller, President, Portland Trail Blazers

A NEW BEGINNING • The Blazers are using their recent success to push their new image and show their fans the potential this exciting young team has • - 2006-2007 Rookie of the Year, Brandon Roy • - 2007 #1 Draft Pick, Greg Oden • - 1st in the Western Conference (25-16) “I want our fans to see that I’m working hard on my comeback. I’ve got a camera with me along the way to keep everyone involved. In between my rehab, I’ll be on the sidelines cheering and I need people to come help support my boys.
