Let’s try and construct our own quatrains. • It’s always easier to write about something you know and like. • For example, it is difficult to write about the politics of Canada. • Only ever worry about your first line and move from there. • Use previous work to inspire you.

Write down all of the poems that you have created in my classes on that page. • If you have missed a day, you don’t have to have that type of poem but I will be extremely impressed if you do. Such an act might be worthy of a good note. • If you lose the sheet, find another A4 page. These sheets will be shown to Miss Keenan so keep them tidy.
