CAPS Staffing • 11 Psychotherapists • 6 psychologists • 4 social workers • 1 licensed professional counselor • 3 PT Psychiatrists + 2 Residents • 80 hours weekly • 6 Graduate Trainees

Individual Psychotherapy • Brief Treatment Model: 6 to 10 sessions • Focus upon rapid return to necessary functioning • Private practice referrals for longer-term psychotherapy • No fee for services
Group Psychotherapy • Group therapy also an effective approach • Sample of groups offered: (modified every year) • Anxiety Disorders • Eating Disorder • Bipolar Support • Women of Color • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender • Student-led Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
Psychiatric Medication • Approximately 25% of CAPS patients receive medication prescriptions • Black box warnings taken very seriously – close follow-up provided • 8 to 10% of CAPS patients receive medication from external providers
Use of CAPS as Consultants • CAPS staff available to respond to parental concerns • Written release, signed by student, required to allow communication with parents
