One-and-One-Half Story Design • Steeper roof for expansion of attic • Dormers for light and ventilation
Two-Story Designs • More economical to build • With or without basement • Smaller lot • Smaller roof • Smaller foundation • Maintenance is more costly and difficult because of height
Split-Level Designs • For sloping or hilly lots, not on a flat lot • Sleeping, living & recreation on different levels
