UT3 Network • H.323 video protocol • H.323 video bounds via network both performance and reliability and • Provide real-time two way communications. • ATM network is a kind of the high speed networks and capable of transferring 150 million signals in a second by using the transfer protocol called 'asynchronous transfer mode'. • Broadband connections (T1, Fiber and Cable) • High speed network on The University of Toledo (UT) Campus. • Connected via the TFN with the Toledo Public Schools (TPS) & the Toledo Catholic Diocese (TDC). • Enabling communication with UT Faculty, UT Teacher Candidates & in Service Teachers.

Types of videoconferencing equipment utilized and distributed to schools by the UT3 Grant project • 11 Dell laptops • 13 Polycom PVX software application • 25 Logitech webcams • 16 Polycom videoconferencing systems (VSX 7000) • 11 people plus content • 11 Portable media carts • School assignments change on a semester basis
