  3. This well-done study contained the following figure showing asthma-related information:

  4. During the time period of the Wildfires, FirstWatch was aggregating and monitoring live EMS and Fire dispatch data from three large communications centers covering the area. The chart below shows all EMS respiratory calls during the same time period shown on the MMWR figure for asthma. To visualize the comparison more clearly, we’ll first view a version of the FirstWatch PSAN chart “stretched” so that the axes match EMS Dispatch Respiratory Calls Then we’ll overlay a version of the MMWR chart that has had the in-chart labels and arrows removed, as well as the top border.
