Morten Wilhelm Wilhelmsen (1839 - 1910) Founder of the company Wilh. Wilhelmsen in Tønsberg 1861.
Objectives The WW Group´s area of business is international maritime activities with a central base in Norway. Our objective for the year 2000 is to be clearly positioned as one of Norway´s leading shipping groups, and with such importance and strength that we also carry weight internationally. We will be a group organisation, with broad expertise and with emphasis on industrial shipping and related services. Profitability, financial strength and good liquidity are fundamental to all our activities.
Basic values The WW Group is backed by 140 years of experience in international shipping. Continuity and quality have been our hallmarks. We are now organised as a group of independent companies and divisions. Our objective is to develop the Group into a committed cooperation through mutual utilisation of each others strengths. The Group´s goals and strategies can best be developed further by having one joint vision and a common set of values and principles to guide our performance and working style. Through a spirit of cooperation we will create an organisation we can be proud of, and one that is respected by the community at large.
