Growth • 1950’s Cargill became a large international trader • Developed a presence in grain and oilseed export and many other areas • 1990’s now includes pork, beef, poultry, steel, citrus, and petroleum • Today 5 key segments • Crop and livestock, health and pharmaceuticals, financial and risk management, and industrial

Conclusion • Cargill has been through many ups and downs but they have come through as once of the premier companies in their industry. And keep ethics as the cornerstone of their business practices.
