  3. Obedience Brings Blessings • 10 lepers followed Jesus’ instruction. • Command given – Go see the priests. • Command obeyed – they went. • Blessing received – they were cleansed.

  4. The Lord Demands Obedience. Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. Matthew 28:18-20 – Observe ALL Philippians 2:12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

  7. Christ Can Cleanse Us. • Leprosy was incurable. • Brought separation from society. • Caused long-lasting suffering. • Christ healed the lepers.

  8. Christ Can Cleanse Us. • Sin is incurable. • Separates us from God. 1 John 1:5-6 • Causes great: • Suffering , Psalm 38:3-5 • Conflict, Galatians 5:19-21 • Emptiness, Luke 15:11-16 • Christ can cleanse us. • 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 • Hebrews 1:3

We Should Be Grateful. • Acts 17:28 or in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ • James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. • Ephesians 5:20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, • Be Thankful For: • Improved health • Material blessings • Family who loves us • The things we don’t have • Salvation

  11. Obey God Today! • Believe – John 8:24 • Confess – Matthew 10:32-33 • Repent – Luke 13:3 • Be Baptized – Mark 16:16 • Be Faithful – Luke 9:62
