3. 1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.

25. 5sent messengers to Balaam the son of Beor at Pethor, which is near the River in the land of the people of Amaw, to call him, saying, “Behold, a people has come out of Egypt. 30. 9And God came to Balaam and said, “Who are these men with you?” 9และพระเจ้าเสด็จมาหาบาลาอัมตรัสว่า “คนที่มาอยู่กับเจ้าคือผู้ใด”

31. 10And Balaam said to God, “Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, has sent to me, saying, 10บาลาอัมทูลพระเจ้าว่า “บาลาคบุตรศิปโปร์กษัตริย์เมืองโมอับได้ใช้เขาทั้งหลายมาแจ้งแก่ข้าพระองค์ว่า11‘Behold, a people has come out of Egypt, and it covers the face of the earth. Now come, curse them for me. Perhaps I shall be able to fight against them and drive them out.’” 11'ดูเถิดชนชาติหนึ่งออกจากอียิปต์มาแผ่คลุมผิวโลกขอเชิญมาเถิดขอสาปแช่งเขาทั้งหลายให้แก่ข้าพเจ้าชะรอยข้าพเจ้าจะรบชนะเขาและขับไล่เขาออกไปได้' ”

32. 12God said to Balaam, “You shall not go with them. You shall not curse the people, for they are blessed.” 12พระเจ้าตรัสกับบาลาอัมว่า “เจ้าอย่าไปกับเขาทั้งหลายเจ้าอย่าแช่งชนชาตินั้นเพราะเขาทั้งหลายเป็นคนที่ได้รับพร”

33. 20And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men have come to call you, rise, go with them; but only do what I tell you.” 20และพระเจ้าเสด็จมาหาบาลาอัมในกลางคืนตรัสแก่เขาว่า “ถ้ามีผู้ชายมาเรียกเจ้าจงลุกขึ้นไปกับเขาแต่เจ้าจงกระทำตามที่ข้าพระองค์ สั่งเจ้าเท่านั้น”

34. 21So Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey and went with the princes of Moab. 21ดังนั้นรุ่งเช้าบาลาอัมก็ลุกขึ้นผูกอานลาไปกับเจ้านายแห่งโมอับ

35. 22But God's anger was kindled because he went, and the angel of the LORD took his stand in the way as his adversary. 36. 23And the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road, with a drawn sword in his hand. And the donkey turned aside out of the road and went into the field. 37. 24Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, with a wall on either side. 24แล้วทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้ามายืนอยู่ในทางแคบระหว่างสวนองุ่นมีกำแพงทั้งสองข้างทาง

38. 25And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pushed against the wall and pressed Balaam's foot against the wall. So he struck her again. 25เมื่อลาเห็นทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้ามันก็ดันไปติดกำแพงหนีบเท้าของบาลาอัมเข้ากับกำแพงบาลาอัมก็ตีลาอีก

40. 27When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam. And Balaam's anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with his staff. 27เมื่อลาเห็นทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้ามันก็หมอบลงบาลาอัมยังคงนั่งอยู่บนหลังบาลาอัมก็โกรธจึงเอาไม้เท้าของเขาตีลา

42. 29And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have made a fool of me. I wish I had a sword in my hand, for then I would kill you.” 29บาลาอัมพูดกับลาว่า “เพราะเจ้าได้แกล้งเราเราอยากจะมีดาบอยู่ในมือเดี๋ยวนี้เราจะได้ฆ่าเจ้าเสีย”

43. 30And the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey, on which you have ridden all your life long to this day? Is it my habit to treat you this way?” And he said, “No.” 30ลาก็พูดกับบาลาอัมว่า “ข้าพเจ้าไม่ใช่ลาของท่านที่ท่านขับขี่อยู่ทุกวันตลอดชีวิตจนบัดนี้ดอกหรือข้าพเจ้าได้เคยกระทำเช่นนี้แก่ท่านหรือ” บาลาอัมก็บอกว่า “ไม่เคย”

44. 31Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, with his drawn sword in his hand. And he bowed down and fell on his face. 31แล้วพระเจ้าทรงเบิกตาบาลาอัมเขาจึงเห็นทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้าถือดาบยืนอยู่ในหนทางบาลาอัมก็ก้มศีรษะซบหน้าลงกราบ

45. 32And the angel of the LORD said to him, “Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out to oppose you because your way is perverse before me. 32และทูตสวรรค์แห่งพระเจ้าพูดกับบาลาอัมว่า “ทำไมเจ้าจึงตีลาของเจ้าถึงสามครั้งดูเถิดเรามาห้ามเจ้าเพราะเจ้าขัดขืนเรา

46. 33The donkey saw me and turned aside before me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, surely just now I would have killed you and let her live.” 33ลาได้เห็นเราและหลีกไปต่อหน้าเราถึงสามครั้งถ้ามันมิได้หลีกไปจากเราเราจะได้ฆ่าเจ้าเสียแล้วเมื่อตะกี้นี้แน่และให้ลารอดตายไป”

47. 34Then Balaam said to the angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know that you stood in the road against me. Now therefore, if it is evil in your sight, I will turn back.”

48. 34แล้วบาลาอัมพูดกับทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้าว่า “ข้าพเจ้าได้กระทำบาปเพราะข้าพเจ้าไม่ทราบว่าท่านยืนอยู่ในหนทางกั้นข้าพเจ้าฉะนั้นถ้าท่านไม่เห็นชอบข้าพเจ้าจะกลับไปเสีย”

49. 35And the angel of the LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but speak only the word that I tell you.” So Balaam went on with the princes of Balak. 35แล้วทูตสวรรค์ของพระเจ้าพูดกับบาลาอัมว่า “จงไปกับชายเหล่านั้นเถิดแต่เจ้าจงพูดเฉพาะคำที่ข้าพระองค์ ให้เจ้าพูด” ดังนั้นบาลาอัมก็ไปกับเจ้านายของบาลาคต่อไป

50. Numbers กันดารวิถี 31:16 16Behold, these, on Balaam's advice, caused the people of Israel to act treacherously against the LORD in the incident of Peor, and so the plague came among the congregation of the LORD.
