Childhood Annie Oakley was born on august 13 1860 in Drake County Ohio.In a log cabin.Her family as well as many others faced struggles.The real struggle began when Annies father died of freezing to death..Annie's mother eventually grew so poor that annie was sent to the infirmary.
Adoption Annie got adopted by whom she called the wolves.They seemed nice at first but she soon learned different.The wolves abused Annie for little reasons.Annie soon got so fed up that she ran away when they weren’t home.She went to the nearest train station.But she didn’t have enough money to pay her fair so a nice man gave her the money, and Annie went home to her mother.But sadly her mother was still poor so she went back to the infirmary for a short period of time.She left when she was old enough to care for her self.
BuffaloBillsWildWest Annie Oakley joined Buffalo Bills Wild West in the year of 1885.She met many famous people of her time.Which whom many of them were indians.She traveled all over the world.She loved what she did.But after a triumphant run in Britain she temporarily leaves the show.In 1889 she returns to spending three years touring in Europe.
LILIAN SMITH Cody the manager of the show thought adding a new female target shooter would bring in more audience meaning more money and annie wouldn’t mind and their wouldn’t be any jealously between them because the two used different weapons.But Annie thought different.Annie found Lillian Smith to be her teenage rival.She faught with cody about this she had had enough.After a train wreck in 1901 Annie quit performing in Buffalo Bills Wild West to move on with her life.
Frank’s and Annie’s later life Annie and Frank lived a happy life in Cambridge maryland.Where the two bought a house.The two never had children because Annie didn’t think it would be proper to have children under the fact of how often they traveled to perform.Annie loved children though.She visited charities and hospitals to spend time with these children. Annie was nice loving and respectful to anyone and everyone she met.She died of anemia on november 3 1926. Frank died shortly after on November 21 1926.
