  2. Annie Oakley • Annie Oakley was born as Phoebe Ann Moses • In Dark County, Ohio on August 13, 1860.

  3. Annie Oakley Annie’s father died in 1866. Later in 1868 Annie taught herself how to shoot.

  4. Annie Oakley • In 1870 Annie went to the Dark County Infirmary. Then in 1881 Annie meets and beats Frank Butler in a shooting match.

  5. Annie Oakley • In 1882-84 Annie and Frank marry and tour together as Butler and Oakley. In 1885 Annie joins Buffalo Bills Wild West Show.

  6. Annie Oakley • In 1887 after a triumphant run in Brittan, Annie temporally leaves the Wild West Show. In 1889 -1892 Annie returns to Wild West Show and spends three years touring Europe.

  7. Annie Oakley • In the late 1890’s to early 1891 Annie combats rumors that she had died in South America. In 1892 once back in the United States, Annie and Frank built a house in Nutley, New Jersey.

  8. Annie Oakley • In 1894 Thomas Edison filmed Annie shooting in his New Jersey studio.

  9. Annie Oakley • In 1901 after a VERY BAD train wreck Annie quits the Wild West Show.

  11. Annie Oakley • 1903-1910 Annie defends her reputation in Court following newspaper reports that said she’d been arrested for theft.

  12. Annie Oakley • In 1911-1913 Annie preformed young Buffalo Bill in Wild West show.

  13. Annie Oakley • November 3, 1926 Annie dies at the age of 66 in her sleep. November 21. 1926 Frank dies in Detroit Michigan.
