You have to understand that any sugar that doesn’t come directly from a fruit is going to be harmful for your body. These days sugar is added in products with different names such as Sucrose, Corn syrup, Maltose, Dextrose etc. It is important that you identify the dangers of sugars in products today. Effects Of Added Sugar On Your Heart And Body There is a study published in 2014 in JAMA Internal Medicine that says, a high added sugar diet puts a person at a higher risk of heart disease. The people consuming added sugar had a 38% higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. Too much of added sugar raises blood pressure and causes chronic inflammation.
