Policy Position Consistent with Bread’s Faithful Tax Policy • Continue the current EITC and Child Tax Credit benefit levels. • Allow the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts to expire for at least the wealthiest 2% of individuals. • Eliminate ineffective tax expenditures. • Restore the estate tax to the 2009 levels. • A net increase in revenue in any tax reform legislation. • A deficit reduction package balanced with spending cuts accompanied by additional tax revenues. www.bread.org
