Restate and Answer • The location and geography of Egypt affected farming and trade because they could get fertile land, this allowed them to trade better crops. Fertile land was located more to the river.
Support • Egypt has fertile land because they were next to the Nile river and this allowed better crops and land. The Nile river separates into different parts throughout different parts of Egypt. The Nile river also irrigates about 2,000,000 acres of land in Sudan.
Support • Trade in Egypt was good because their crops were rich. Some Egypt's trade routes went through the Mediterranean sea. Most of their trade routes were also located more towards the Nile River.
Insight • Now that I have read about ancient Egypt I understand how important the Nile river was, and how important it is now for crops and trade.
