  1. SQWG Status and Activities21.6.2007 SCIAVALIG, Bremen

  2. SQWG Goals • Maintain and improve SCIAMACHY operational data processing, by intensify and condense all activities around the evolution of the operational processing into one group which takes care of the evolution and improvements of the operational data processing chain from Level 0 to Level 2. • The formation of such a group, the SCIAMACHY Quality Working Group, follows the exercise successfully applied to the evolution of data processing of other instruments onboard ENVISAT. • The SQWG proposal is a joint activity as an answer to the interagency effort of ESA, DLR and NIVR to maintain and improve the SCIAMACHY algorithm baseline, as described in the statement of work.

  13. Relation to SCIAVALIG • Formally SCIAVALIG recommends to SSAG/agencies, agencies advise SQWG to investigate and report back to agencies ... • Neverthless: • SCIAVALIG will be informed about SQWG status (see this mtg.) • SCIAVALIG is invited to support SQWG activities (see for example m-factor impact study talk K. Bramstedt) • SCIAVALIG is invited to support SQWG verification excercises by comparisons to validation data • …
