Let’s Review: Present Tense3rd Conjugation Verbs • 3rd conjugation verbs have a little “trick” to make their present tense. • pono, ponere, posui, positus • Instead of dropping just the –RE to find the stem, go ahead and drop the –ERE instead! ponere – -ere = pon-
