  6. Importance of Human Factors in Process Industries • Important to improve personal/ worker safety. ( i.e. work on behavioural improvement, ergonomics, training etc) • Many process companies have demonstrated high standards of performance in this area. Process companies are amongst world leaders in safety performance.
