  5. Positive Character Traits • He stayed in the Navy for 2 years • His family moved often • During a march he walked many miles each day

  6. Impact on Society • He helped many migrant farm workers get paid more money • He used nonviolent protests to win public support • He helped us on winning recognition of workers’ rights
