Whether you travel to the Swiss Alps to hear an alphorn concert of yodelers or to see Roger Federer win a tennis championship, the country of Switzerland is a magical place.

  2. Swiss Cuisine Cheese Swiss cuisine features cheese products. One of the most popular cheese dishes of Switzerland is fondue, which is a hot gravy used for dipping. Fondue is made from cheeses like Gruyere which are both sweet and salty. (Donovan 45) Chocolate Chocolatiering is a popular profession in Switzerland. Swiss chocolatier Daniel Peter invented the first milk chocolate in the world in 1875! Since then, techniques such as conching make Swiss chocolate the world’s finest. Conching is a process that combines cocoa butter and chocolate in an even mixture. (Allen 71)
