Keira Knightley • Respondent 224: ‘This body is so thin that it has lost any sense of femininity. This body looks unhealthily thin, although there is a sense of some musculature suggesting that this person is quite fit, but the bones are too visible. However, I do find myself wishing, in spite of all I've said, that my stomach was that flat. • Respondent 242: ‘terrible thin but I think she may just be naturally slim. I would kill for a stomach like that but wouldn't like to actually be that skinny. Feelings of envy mixed with disgust’
Beth Ditto • Respondent 188: ‘good boobs - shame about the rest - doesn't look healthy. good on her for having the confidence’ • Respondent 260: ‘Too fat – she can’t be healthy – but at least she seems confident with her body’ • Respondent 265: ‘I don't think it looks nice, but she obviously has a lot of confidence which is good to see. I think rolls of skin are just really unattractive - and I can't see how someone of this size could feel confident about their body’ • Respondent 32: ‘I like her body but probably I like more her confidence/comfort with it. I wouldn’t feel comfortable that size, but that’s just me, and doesn’t mean I don’t like it for her’ • Respondent 126: ‘beth ditto rocks!!! but i wouldn’t like her figure. i respect her confidence but i wouldn’t be the same’
