Full Responsibility • Imagine standing on one leg….now someone gives you a slight or huge shove on the shoulder. What happens…even with a slight shove? • Symbolically, this is what happens when” • When we worry what everyone thinks of us • When we try to change other people • When we don’t get enough sleep • When you abuse substances • When you worry about the future • When you are taking full responsibility: • Focus on your business • Tell the truth • You take care of yourself physically/emotionally • Ask for help • Letting what everyone thinks of us not matter • Letting go of the fear of the future and living each day in the present
* We live is a society that is rampant with blaming.. • -the government, our schools, neighbors, the “other” political party….. • * Our thoughts create our reality. • Think of Terry Fox, Marcus Dupree, “Stand and Deliver,” ZigZiglar, Tony Robbins……they created the world they live in. • * You must come to realize that you are the most powerful person in your life.
AD/BC • Learn to own responsibility for your decisions • You must move from B.Cing(blaming and complaining) to A.Ding (Acting and Dreaming) • You will also come to learn others will treat you in regard to how you treat yourself. • The happiest and most successful people in the world feel like they have power (A.D) • Victims feel powerless over their lives (B.C)
