Count & Non Count Nouns • A noun can be a person, place, thing, idea, or quantity. • There are two basic noun groups: • Count Nouns • Non Count Nouns
A, An, Some • They show the number of something. • A or an with a singular count noun means ‘one’ • Or refer to unspecified person or thing. • A: comes before consonants. • An: comes before vowels. • Some: used with plural nouns.
