  1. CRYOTHERAPY ATHLETES FOR HOW DOES CRYOTHERAPY WORKS? Client enters cryosuana, where skin surface cools to 30 degree F in 30-40 Seconds. During Vasoconstriction, toxins continue to be flushed from muscle and skin surface tissue. Red blood cells are enriched with oxygen, nutrients, and enzymes while toxins are flushed from peripheral tissues Vasoconstriction causes more blood to be pumped to internal organs. Upon exit from the chamber, the body vasodilates and the enriched blood is released back to skin surface tissues, muscle tissues, and joint spaces that have been flushed of toxins. This vasodilation also releases endorphins, which provide pain relief. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF CRYOTHERAPY? METABOLIC BOOST Exposure to cold increases the body's metabolic rate Helps athletes overcome performance plateaus PREPARATION Pre-workout or pre-competition cryotherapy can increase energy Promotes overall feeling of wellness and vitality RECOVERY Athletes often experience inflammation from chronic and acute injuries Cryotherapy speeds recovery and reduces post-workout soreness CHRONIC INJURY TREATMENT Wear and tear on athletes' bodies may lead to arthritis over time Endorphin release after a treatment can lead to weeks of suppressed inflammation WHO USES CRYO-HEALTH.COM?
