A 74 yo Man with Recurrent Pleural Effusion Sinus complaints and mild SOB x 2 wks Mild cough productive of yellowish sputum No fevers, chills, sweats, or weight loss PMH: Pleural effusion (first noted 6 mo ago) s/p thoracentesis x 2 COPD Recurrent URIs Meds: SH: Albuterol MDI prn Tobb 40 pk/yr (quit 97) Benadryl prn Retired truck driver No known asbestos exp.

    2. PE: BP 123/79, P 86, R 18, T 36.6 O2 sat 97% RA GEN: Well nourished man in NAD. CHEST: Decreased BS at right base w/ dullness. No wheezes/rhonchi. CV: RRR. No murmurs or gallops. No JVD. EXT: 2+ LE non-pitting edema. LABS: CBC & Chem 13: WNL
