A-B ROLL • INSERT EDIT SOURCE MATERIAL TO MASTER TAPE. • MARK IN ON MASTER TAPE WHERE YOU WANT DISSOLVE OR WIPE TO BEGIN. • COMPUTER MATCHES THE FRAME MARKED-IN ON MASTER TAPE TO THE TIMECODE fr OF THE ORIGINAL SOURCE TAPE. • MARK IN ON B TAPE THE FIRST FRAME OF VIDEO THAT YOU WANT TO DISSOLVE OR WIPE TOO. • EDIT CONTROLLER FIRST MAKES CUT OF MATCHED FRAME FROM TAPE A THEN SWITCHER DISSOLVES TO B TAPE. • BOTH A AND B TAPES ROLL AT SAME TIME.
