Basic Requirements for 3rd Party The following features are identified as basic requirements in support of international and domestic data roaming • Interoperability between Simple IP and Mobile IP • Interoperability between 1xRTT and 1xEV-DO • RADIUS (AAA) server infrastructure and software • FUNK • Radiator • Merit • FFR • RADIUS to RADIUS messaged at 3rd party vendor • G4 time stamp
Basic Requirements for 3rd Party Con’t… • Support Interoperability between GPRS/GRX and CDMA/CRX data roaming • Support individual carriers Security of IP networks through firewalls • GMT offset for variety of switch and data elements • Direct corporate VPN/MMS • Support of record formats for G1 & G2 • IS 835 (A,B,C and all future versions) • IS 825 A & B
CRX Specific Requirements • Ability to support all or part of data packet • Authentication: AICENT • Accounting: TSI • Bearer: Service Provider • Support interface with other service providers for handoff of packets • Support of secured reverse tunneling and VPN-IPSec
