  3. Financial Clearing House Peering • Background • MACH has been the only company to provide Financial Clearing House (FCH) service to CDMA carriers(Carriers). • Syniverse newly started to provide FCH service since late 2008. • Benefit of using FCH service • Carriers can enjoy ONE STOP inter-carrier settlement with its Roaming Partners(RP) using FCH service. • Current issue (Please refer to Appendix I) • Carriers which are using different vendors’ FCH service cannot enjoy ONE STOP inter-carrier settlement, which diminish the benefit of FCH service and increases burden (Bilateral settlement) on Carriers.

  4. Financial Clearing House Peering • Benefit of achieving FCH peering • FCH service become attractive to Carriers as more Carriers participate in the service. FCH vendors can explore more business possibilities with carriers which currently do NOT use FCH services. • Carriers can keep enjoying benefit of using FCH services (ONE STOP inter-carrier settlement). • What has been done • CDG IRT contacted MACH and Syniverse to request peering to each other. • CDG IRT requested Ms. Sara Aab and Mr. Daniel Salek to lead/moderate FCH peering for CDG IRT. • MACH and Syniverse agreed to accomplish FCH peering.

  5. Financial Clearing House Peering • What requirements do we want for FCH peering? Goal Date for FCH peering? • Timeline for carriers’ action items • Collect carriers’ requirements by August. 31, 2008 • Set up a teleconference to review the requirement in early September • Provide carriers’ requirement with FCH in mid-September • (FCHs present their peering status and when to be completed at Kansas City Mtg)
