Religion • They used Gods to help explain all the natural events they saw around them • The Ancient Egyptians believed the pharaoh was a God on earth • Ancient Egyptians built pyramids because they believed it was a machine to take the Pharaoh and the other Egyptians to the afterlife. • The religion controlled education, the structure of society, technological advances, and the system of government.
